Services Provided

Below is a list of some of the events and calls the volunteers with Lebanon Rescue Department complete each year. Last year, volunteers donated over 12,000 manpower hours to their community.

Community Education

  • Junior High Safety Classes

  • Blood Pressure Clinics

 

Community Support Services

  • Memorial Day Services
  • Blood Pressure Clinics
  • Parade Details
  • Southern Maine’s First Heartsafe Community.
  • Stand By at Sporting Events (Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Football, etc.)
  • Assist with yearly ATV Rides.
  • Assist with Annual Turkey Run (Dirtbike Road Race)
  • Assist Lebanon Recreation with details.
  • Mud Race Safety

  • All medical calls.
  • Carbon Monoxide
  • Suspicious Packages Investigation.
  • Hazardous Material Incidents/Stand By
  • Motor Vehicle Accidents
  • Staging for Suicidal Patients
  • Stand By At House/Chimney Fires
  • Provide Mutual Aid to Neighboring Communities
  • Provide Advanced Life Support to Neighboring Communities

  • Water rescue

  • Flood monitoring

  • Wilderness Search and Rescue
  • Lost snowmobilers
  • Lost Parachute Victims.
