Citizens Initiate Petition Process
In just over 2 weeks, over 500 residents signed petitions to ask to expend rescue revenue the department already has to replace the 2nd ambulance that was taken out of service over a year ago. The ambulance would be purchased through donations and revenue the department already has. The rescue turned in over 300 names by the deadline and then received over 200 signatures.
Important Dates For The Ambulance Vote:
- Monday May 17th, 2010 - Proposed Date for the Public Hearing at 7pm
- Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 - Voting Day!!
